Cyclick Guitar Patches (sf2)

Cyclick Guitar is a conversion of several guitar multi-samples by Cyclick Samples, found in the now discontinued Computer Music Magazine, issue 88.

BEST USE: For jungle, shoegaze, nu-metal, and any genre which benefits from strange, spacy guitars.

Patches include single notes and chords, with velocity switched and octaved round robins. These extend the utility of the samples tenfold. Loops enabled!

WHY THESE WERE MADE: The original chords were difficult to use without knowing music theory. There were no round robins, and repeat notes were a headache.

HOW THAT WAS FIXED: Each chord has been transposed for quick switching between complementary chords, without any mental math. The tonic of each chord will remain the same through each velocity/octave switch.

Single note patches are separated into low and high strings, with the higher strings sounding not unlike olskool Korn leads. Experimenting with high and low octaves and different velocities yields interesting effects!

Chords are divided into types, with the 6th chords being my favorite, plus a selection of layered combinations (Jungle chords). These are further separated into 3 levels of complexity.

Finally, there is a velocity switch version which includes all chords.
